These are 4 bedroomed houses which are ideal for year round holidays and command lovely views. Bedrooms sleep up to six people in 1 double room, 1 twin room, 1 single room and a single room on the ground floor of the house. There is also a WC on the ground floor.
The house comes with all modern conveniences one would expect in self catering accommodation, including fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washer/tumble dryer etc.
These houses are just 10 minutes walk to the beautiful horse shoe shaped beach which Kilkee is famous for. Kilkee is one of Irelands leading holiday centres. A charming seaside town on the Western Coast of County Clare, it retains its 19th Century Victorian ambiance, yet has all the modern facilities to make your holiday a memorable one.
Kilkee overlooks the mile-long horseshoe bay, with a gently sloping safe and sandy beach that is protected from the Atlantic weather by the Duggerna Reef which stretches across the mouth of the bay. Kilkees golden sandy beach, with its Blue Flag status, makes it the safest beach on the West Coast of Ireland. Kilkee has played host to tourists for the past 200 years. Known as the gateway to the Loophead Peninsula, Kilkee is one of the main tourist centres and caters for all members of the family.
An immediate non-refundable booking deposit of €150 per property is required to secure booking. The balance of the payment is required not less than 6 weeks before arrival date.
The charge for utilities is €6 per day in June, July, August & September and €11 for all other months (oil central heating). Electricity is charged on a meter reading basis throughout the year, payable onsite.
All bedding and bed linen with the exception of cot bedding and cot linen is provided free of charge. When a property is being rented for more than one week clients may liaise directly with the caretaker if fresh bed linen is required. A nominal fee may apply for these additional services.
Towels are not provided as standard. If guests would prefer not to bring their own they are available at an additional charge. One set of towels to include one hand towel and one bath towel is available at a charge of €4.50 per set (1 Bath Towel and 1 Hand Towel), payable onsite.
Pets are allowed at this location, at an extra fee of €50 for cleaning purposes, payable on site to caretaker.
Cots and highchairs must be pre-ordered. Every effort will be made to provide these items but guests should remind the caretaker of their request when calling to make arrangements for checking in. There is a charge of €10 per item reserved, payable onsite.
A refundable security deposit of €150 must be paid to the supervisor/caretaker on arrival. The deposit will be refunded once the supervisor is satisfied that the terms and conditions of rental have been compiled with. It is expected that the homes be left in a clean & tidy condition on departing. All rubbish should be gathered and stored in suitable plastic bags.
Failure to leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition may result in the loss of security deposit. When a rental is for longer than one week, cleaning of the house during rental must be requested from the on-site manager and a fee may apply. For Bank Holiday weekends the security deposit increases to €500. This is handled by way of a pre-authorized payment (not collected). There will be no claim on this amount once the terms of the rental have been complied with and the house has been left as it should be.
