Burren Atlantic Townhouses are an exciting development of luxurious self catering townhouses that are situated in a marvellous location on the coast road in Ballyvaughan Village. Long a favourite holiday destination, picturesque Ballyvaughan sits on the shore of Galway Bay and borders the famous Burren region.
These holiday cottages are finished to the highest standards. Each deluxe two bedroom house sleeps 4 people and boasts bright, spacious open plan living accommodation with an gas fire with decking area leading from living room. The two bedroom houses have two double rooms, one of which has a King Size bed.
The area provides an abundance of activities for the holiday maker including the spectacular Ailwee Caves, exploring the Burren, strolling on the numerous sandy beaches, such as Bishops Quarter which is just a mile from the houses, or just relaxing and enjoying the legendary seafood restaurants and lively pubs.
An immediate non-refundable booking deposit of €100 per property is required to secure booking. The balance of the payment is required not less than 6 weeks before arrival date.
The charge for utilities is €8 per night April - September inclusive and €10 per night for the rest of the year. Electricity is charged on a meter reading basis throughout the year, payable onsite.
All bedding and bed linen with the exception of cot bedding and cot linen is provided free of charge. When a property is being rented for more than one week clients may liaise directly with the caretaker if fresh bed linen is required. A nominal fee may apply for these additional services.
Towels are not provided as standard. If guests would prefer not to bring their own they are available at an additional charge. One set of towels to include one hand towel and one bath towel is available at a charge of €4.50 per set (1 Bath Towel and 1 Hand Towel), payable onsite.
Cots and highchairs must be pre-ordered. Every effort will be made to provide these items but guests should remind the caretaker of their request when calling to make arrangements for checking in. There is a charge of €10 per item reserved, payable onsite.
A refundable security deposit of €150 must be paid to the supervisor/caretaker on arrival. The deposit will be refunded once the supervisor is satisfied that the terms and conditions of rental have been compiled with. It is expected that the homes be left in a clean & tidy condition on departing. All rubbish should be gathered and stored in suitable plastic bags.
Failure to leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition may result in the loss of security deposit. When a rental is for longer than one week, cleaning of the house during rental must be requested from the on-site manager and a fee may apply. For Bank Holiday weekends the security deposit increases to €500. This is handled by way of a pre-authorized payment (not collected). There will be no claim on this amount once the terms of the rental have been complied with and the house has been left as it should be.
